It’s now been almost a week since our church’s first ever Summerfest and as I look back on the event, all I can remember is positive. I have to admit, there were a few days when I thought we might not get enough help from people - then, when it really mattered - our church stepped up! I was blown away by how many people came out to pitch in and get things set up and help run things.
A huge thank you to everyone who pitched in! Without each and every one of you, the day would not have been a success!
A few highlights for me were:
All the live musicians we had on stage! I love our band!
Kaitlyn Enriquez’s Comedy Routine
The Jesus Loves You Train! (and the bubbles!)
Learning just how creative, crafty and talented our church is! The items in the boutique and auction were all amazing!
The food! Between David Wilson on the grill with the hot dogs and hamburgers and Jose and Marisol handling the shish-kebabs and empanadas - I feel certain that nobody went home hungry. It was all so good!
The fellowship between our church and Columna de la Verdad! I don’t know about you guys, but I very much enjoyed getting to know them a little more.
Cooling off with some amazing Snow Cones from Snow Castle!
Ending the night on a worshipful note with both our church’s bands!
We even raised some money that will go towards getting a new playground!
Take a look at some of the pictures we snagged from the day!
