Once a month, we gather as a whole youth group to do either a service project or a fundraiser. Stay tuned for specific details, but we have been known to assist with rebuild upstate, meals on wheels, do yard sales, Moe's nights, valentines dinners and so much more. Our youth truly exhibit servants hearts when it comes to loving and serving our community.
Youth group meets on Wednesday nights at 7 in the youth room.
Once a month, we do a full youth group gathering with both high school and middle school youth. We play a game, learn a lesson and enjoy fellowship. We pick a theme for the year and focus in each of the activities around the theme - this year's theme is Fearless.
Each week, we split into smaller groups based on age and gender to dive in deeper into the theme and study God's Word and how it applies in our daily environments.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed,
for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Youth in Action Service Week
Each summer, we set aside a week to give back to our community. This year, we worked with Meals on Wheels, White Horse Academy, Serenity Place, Calvary Home for Children, Harvest Hope Food Bank. In addition to those projects, we had a work day at the church to beautify our landscaping and took some time to serve the young mothers in our congregation. Check out the recap video to see the amazing impact our youth had on the community around us.
If you are interested in volunteering with our youth, please let us know.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the High School and Middle School Guys' Bible Studies.
